Touring Colorado on Two Wheels
I love Colorado. There is nothing that thrills me more than a trip through the hills on the back of a motorcycle. The road bends and twists, the air is fressh and crisp. The roar of the bike echos through the canyons. It's a feeling of freedom and power.
The hills I am refering to are the Rocky Mountains. I am on the easterns slope of the Continental Divide. There are few roads, peaks and valleys that I have not seen in my 53 years of Colorado living, but each majestic view feels new each time I see it. It changes with the seasons, even with the time of day. It is an incredible place to live and in the blog I plan on taking you on my journy to some of my favorite spots, to what I believe are some of the most spectacular views and the most seductive towns and village that the state has to offer.
We will travel the highest road in the Continental US, and glide through the Pawnee National Grasslands. From high above timberline, to the prairies where the grass blows in oceanic like waves.
This is my home. The place where I was born, and the place where I will go to summerland. I hope you enjoy the journy.
